Hospitality and Tourism Industry usually have events in the form of weddings, official meetings, celebrations and fund raising programs which is organized by tourism management professionals. The success of an event is depended on various factors like the opinion of the guests, opinion of the clients and opinion of the hotel or restaurant owner.
The first thing related to satisfaction of an event is based on the opinion of the client who booked the event. The event should be conducted in the exact way as the client have expected and the facilities should be sufficient to satisfy the guests. The facilities include sufficient amount of chairs, decoration elements, quality and quantity of food and drinks etc. The problems that may occur at any stage of the event should be affecting the functioning and guests should not be made aware of them. Only an event successfully organized can generate more business to the hotel or restaurant where the event is organized.
The people attending the event might be having their own expectations which will be different that the host conducting the event. Most of the time the satisfaction level of the guests is depending upon the quantity of the food, how much friendly the staff and how much attractive is the atmosphere at the event. How much warm is the food is also a concern for most guests. How much fast a request is handled and how polite is the attitude of the staff is a serious concern for guests.
For the owner of the business concern where the event is organized profit is the primary factor for success. The expectation of the restaurant or hotel owner will be about the profitability of the event. In some rare cases where the event is conducted as a fund raiser program, the owners may reduce the rates and give it as a donation to the event organizers. If the business owner is new in the event management industry there might be flexibility in the cost factors.
