BREAKING THE ICE AND GETTING A
STRIKE HAS NEVER BEEN THIS CONVIVIAL

The bowling tournament on 10th October 2022, was one of the most exhilarating and funfilled event to welcome our new batch of students.

Bowling with freshers is our way to break the ice between our students and an introduction to the university with the expectation of the same vigor, team spirit, courage and enthusiasm that the students showcased. The morning began with them showing up in large numbers with their peers for bowling. All the students were divided into a group of six and were assigned a bowling lane. Their introductions, strategies, and pep talks before the session were an interesting take on our overall agenda of getting to know them. The freshers in our red westford Tshirts were a sight worth capturing.

The excitement after every spare and strike in all lanes displayed by boys and girls amped up the energies and made the students feel welcomed and at ease. After the teams made it to the end, the best teams, one of the team from the boys and the other from the girls were awarded medals. The individual star players were awarded with medals as well.

The bowling event organized by Westford University Collage was a great success. This was a great turnout, and everyone had a great time. The event was a great way to get people involved in the Westford community, have fun meeting new people, and making friends. My team managed to win a gold medal by scoring a total of 597 points. Many thanks to the council members and Westford staff for organizing such a great event! #ProudWestfordian

As a westfordian, attending the bowling event with freshers as part of my first event was simply amazing. I had a memorable time competing with my friends and connecting with the new students from other programs. I am looking forward to more programs like this where we can show case our skills and interact with others.

I attended the bowling event which was for freshers and simply loved the experience. I met other freshers including my classmates and was able to have a good time with them. I thank Westford for organizing it and giving us the platform to make new friends even before our classes commenced. The best part of the entire event was when everyone came together for a group photograph and seemed happy and excited to begin their university life.

We at Westford are looking forward to meeting the freshers at the campus!
