Today’s engineering managers are required to be trained on general management as well as specific engineering disciple that will be used by the engineering teams to be managed. Engineering Management (EM) is a special form of management domain that covers a broad range of activities required to lead engineering and technical personnel and projects. The one-year MBA (Master of Business Administration) in Engineering Management is a comprehensive program designed for supply chain professionals who are looking forward to a great career in the engineering industry. Post completion of the program, the learners will be awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering Management from Cambridge International Qualifications, UK, and an MBA in Engineering Management from Universidad Catolica de Murcia, UCAM.
The students enrolling for MBA in Engineering Management will undertake the core modules on International Human Resources, Strategic Change Management, Strategic Management, and Leadership and Operations Management, and specialized modules in Engineering Management and 21st Century Globalization in the first part while in the second part the students will take the module on Socio-Economic – Legal Environment and thesis work.

Part A consists of six modules out of which, 4 are core modules and 2 are specialized. These six modules will be delivered over a period of six months. All the learners who complete part A will attain 40 ECTS which is equivalent to 120 UK Credits.

Part 02 consists of a mandatory module and a thesis work. It is of a duration of six months and all learners who complete part 01 and part 02 will be awarded an MBA degree in Engineering Management from UCAM, Spain, and will attain 60 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) which is equivalent to 180 UK credits.

Delivery – Online
MBA in International Business will be delivered through a state of the art online learning system and all the learners will have access to international journals and books. All the programs will be delivered by international faculty and students can attend the live lectures from senior international faculties by logging into the system. All the sessions will be recorded and the students can listen to the lectures at their leisure. The LMS has an option for doubt clarification session and online classroom activity. The classes will be held twice a week (Sunday and Tuesday) for three hours each.
Delivery – Class Room
For the learners who wish to attend classroom sessions, Westford will facilitate classroom sessions every Friday at its campus in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. All the sessions will be delivered by senior faculty members. All the learners will also get access to the state of the art learning system which has option for uploading assignment and reference materials and journals.
