    Wendy is an academic link tutor for the PGCEi, iQTS link tutor (Asia), Behaviour Priority Lead and Primary Languages tutor on primary initial teacher education programmes at Canterbury Christ Church University. She is also an external education consultant. Wendy has contributed to several publications on research, mentoring, languages, working with parents and well-being and recently co-authored the book ‘Language Learning and Intercultural Understanding in the Primary School’.

    Lorna Hughes

    Principal Lecturer
    School of Teacher Education

    Lorna is currently the Principal Lecturer at CCCU’s School of Teacher Education and also holds the positions of School Lead for Internationalisation and Course Director for masters level courses. Her work is mainly focused around special educational needs and inclusion, she also has a passion for international opportunities and the transformative aspect this can provide for learners. Previous to working at CCCU, she taught in a mainstream secondary school as an English Teacher and held the role of SENCO.
